Hello out there. Im writing this to vent maybe find some perspective heck maybe talk to someone who isn’t a therapist. In May of 2024 right after my 30th birthday my mother (calling her that is cringe since in my eyes real mothers don’t do what she did but for the sake of this I will call her that.) Left her marriage of almost 40 years and her two daughters 36 and 30 of age. She stated she had been unhappy for a long time and my dad was controlling and manipulative. Little background on my dad he will give you the shirt off his back, but he is a victim of his circumstances and had to raise her he didn’t have a partner. He had an essentially another child because she was never raised to become a fully capable adult by her crappy family she was neglected and mistreated by them her entire life. He did the best he could and did try to show her unconditional love and build her out of several situations, legal and financial she got caught shoplifting before I was born, and she stole money from my grandfather, her father. She also racked up credit card debt several times and my dad had to take on too sometimes three jobs to pay off debt, but he did it. Back in 1999. She also tried to leave because she met somebody in an AOL chat room so they did almost divorce back then but they worked it out. Now almost 25 years later history repeats itself. We do know that she was being scammed and stole 7k of my dad’s money that we know can trace. They have been divorced since November and my dad somehow managed to only have to pay her 100K in settlement. Even though she could’ve easily been entitled to way more than that with my dad’s assets. A win is a win though. OK, let’s get to the point now that thrown on the backstory. My husband and I have been no contact with my mother since July she continuously lies to us and maybe she’s always been a liar and we should’ve called her out for it a long time ago, but we just thought she was a little eccentric and wanted to be the center of attention because she was never the center of attention as a child. My sister and I who do seek mental health do you believe she suffers from borderline personality disorder and she has never gotten the help she needs, but she also lies about getting help she needs. She told her she was gonna go see a therapist and she never did we are not speculating that we know it because she told us a lie, and we caught her in it. She has a narcissistic tendencies. Funny thing is that she said my dad was a narcissist. It was really her. Anyway, I have typed up hundreds of text messages telling her pretty much too fuck off and I never want to see or hear from her again. I always end up deleting these text messages because I feel like I’m just giving her the attention she wants even if it’s negative attention she’s going to bask in it but I’m struggling to get closure. I don’t want somebody like this thinking they can be a part of my life especially right now with me and my husband trying to grow our family I do not want her thinking she can come around and try and play grandma or even pretend to be a mother. I feel like I’m wanting closure I’m never going to get though. Should I send the text or should I just stay silent and live my life. I do talk to my therapist about this and she said ultimately it’s my choice but this feeling of abandonment me won’t leave me. And I know it will fully never leave me and I know I’m never going to get answers for why she did what she did because I can never believe anything she says again. I’m posting here because I’ve come across some concerning practices related to recruitment for Emirates, specifically through FlyRight International, a recruitment agency based in Brazil. These practices seem to be unethical. Here’s what I’ve found: FlyRight International appears to be operating with outdated and exclusionary recruitment standards. Despite Brazil’s diverse population, they seem to favour candidates from specific regions while excluding others. On top of that, reports of discrimination based on physical appearance, including weight and body shape, are still a thing—something that should no longer be part of any professional recruitment process. Another problem is the age bias, with most candidates being between the ages of 21 and 29. It seems like older candidates are being overlooked despite their qualifications and experience. But perhaps the most concerning issue is the promotion of paid workshops by FlyRight International’s recruiters/representatives. These workshops charge a hefty fee and are indirectly marketed as an essential preparation for the recruitment process—or any process as they prefer to say. Sziasztok! Sok mindent láttam már a csoportban felső szomszédokkal kapcsolatban és hasonló problémával, mint a miénk. Illetve mostanában volt egy kedves felsőszomszéd OP, aki hajlandó ezen változtatni. :) - sajnos nem a miénk Augusztusban vettük át újépítésű társasházban a lakásunkat, iszonyatosan nagy volt az öröm. Minden tökéletes volt, elrendezés, lokáció, egyebek. Szeptemberben beköltöztek fölénk, már első nap fel kellett mennünk, mert olyan szinten zengett a födém este 11-kor, hogy nem lehetett meglenni. Természetesen meglepett Pikachu arc a sráctól, hogy úristen nem is gondolta volna. Ő tök normálisan megy, de akkor figyel rá. Teltek a napok és folyamatosan hallottuk, hogy lépkednek. Mivel lakásonként megegyeznek az alaprajzok, így tényleg nm2-re pontosan meg lehet mondani, hogy hol vannak a lakásban. Ekkor nem én mentem fel és nem is a srác nyitott ajtót, hanem a felesége. Na ő nagyon nem volt jó arc. Azt mondta, hogy nem fog papucsot felvenni, ez az ő lakása, neki joga van lépkedni. Illetve ne merjük őket mégegyszer zavarni. Azt követően egész vasárnap, mintha kalapáccsal verték volna a földet, felmentünk így mindketten. Valamennyire normálisan megtudtuk beszélni, lejött meghallgatni a csaj, hogy mit hallunk. Elnézést kértek, de jött a cinikus nem tudunk repülve közlekedni, illetve hogy papucsot hordanak. Természetesen papucs nélkül nyitottak ajtót. Meg ami van is nekik, az is a szállodai - semmit nem fog fel. De utána volt egy viszonylag csendesebb időszak. Azonban most januártól elviselhetetlen ez újra. Most szeretnénk már a problémát a közösképviselőnek jelezni, hátha ő tud segíteni. Azonban nem vagyunk annyira bizakodóak. Egyszerűen megdöbbent az, hogy tényleg 2 fiatal, jól szituált ember képtelen felvenni papucsot a lakásában, mert hogy neki joga van nem hordani. Fogalmunk sincs mit csináljunk, legszívesebben most elköltöznénk, de nyilván minden pénz a lakásban van és nem szívesen buknánk a 15%-os SZJA-t eladás után. Van valami tippetek?
